Is there any active development still going on with the drivers by anyone? The latest commits in the CVS at sourceforge are all like 3+ years old.
I want 4000FLX support as well, and I have some work on a driver set that I started about the time Victor did his. I also have a pretty complete (~99%) protocol specification for the SpaceBalls.
