Re: Back in Stock (20180819)

Did I miss the boat again? The web-store says they're out of stock.

Re: Updates coming

Victor, Yes I am interested in acquiring a working prototype (if possible) of the yet to be named successor of the Orbotron 9000. I would like to review the device and post the results on some of the 6DOF forums with the purchasing and configuration information. I will make sure to include any desir...

Re: OrbShield kits...
I know the subject is mostly dead, but I did manage to get Seeed to put together a number of kits with all the needed parts to make shields. They're at http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/orbshield-v10-kit-p-545.html, and to my surprise two people have bought them. I bought a ...

Re: Status of Orbshields, 16 Jan 2011

Vic, I received both the OrbShield kit and the Seeeduino V2.21 (Atmega 168P) and proceeded to assemble with the help of a friend. The Assembly of the OrbShield went smoothly. Finding and configuring the drivers from Auduino took us a little longer to figure out but we were successful. We programmed ...

Re: Status of Orbshields, 16 Jan 2011

Vic,

The 328 was and still is out of stock. I went ahead and ordered the 168 from Seeed and will hope for the best. I expect to receive my order within the next 26 days. After spending some quality time with my soldering iron I'll find out for certain.

Thanks

Re: Status of Orbshields, 16 Jan 2011

Vic,

I am finally going to order my Orbshield. I am unsure of which Seeeduino to go with it. Is the Seeeduino V2.21 (Atmega 168P) fully compatible?

Re: OrbShield kits...

Unfortunately I can’t seem to get D2X-XL to run on my hardware. I play the older versions of Descent using the DXX-Rebirth ports which also uses the Windows game controllers. I also play Descent 3 which is a Windows version and should not be a problem. I am also curious as to any disadvantage to usi...

Re: OrbShield kits...

Hi Victor. I’m new to this forum and not a SpaceOrb user but was considering getting one. I found this posting while I was looking into available SpaceOrb support. I am a 3D CAD/CAM professional who has been using Spaceballs for over 10 years. I am also a gamer with my games of choice being the Desc...
